Services for Victims of Sexual Abuse and their Family Members/Child Advocacy Pro

The Compass Health Children’s Advocacy Program (CAP) provides services to children and adolescents who have been or are believed to have been sexually abused, from birth to 22 years of age and their non-offending family members. The youth and family focused services are provided at Compass Health clinics by professionals specifically trained to treat victims of sexual abuse. No child, youth, or family will be denied CAP services because of an inability to pay. The cost of CAP is covered, in part, by most health insurance plans. If you have made a police report, we will help you apply for Crime Victims Compensation which is a state program that pays for counseling for victims of crimes. If you do not have insurance the cost of therapy is covered by a grant from the Office of Crime Victim’s Advocacy (OCVA). Our specially trained therapists use Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as their treatment model. This is an evidence-based practice that has been shown many times by research to be a highly effective treatment model for trauma. This service is available in Snohomish & Skagit counties.
