Our mission is to provide dynamic, creative and innovative behavioral health services in the school setting. Our school based behavioral health counselors work in all four school districts of Island County; Oak Harbor, Coupeville, South Whidbey and Camano/Stanwood. The counselors address a wide range of concerns: School adjustment and attendance problems, Depression, Anxiety, Self esteem issues, Bullying, Suicide prevention, Grief, Relationship difficulties, Emotional upset, Gender and sexuality, Behavior challenges. School based behavioral health counselors address these concerns through Individual, group and family counseling, Mediation, Crisis intervention, Parent support groups and classes, and Staff consultation.
