Equine Facilitated Mental Health & Learning
Equine Facilitated Counseling & Wellness is a Neuro-Experiential program offered by NW Hearts United that utilizes the healing power of horses to promote mental wellbeing and learning. Through a combination of therapy and interactions with horses, participants can gain self-awareness, develop coping skills, and improve communication and leadership abilities. This program is designed for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including those with behavioral issues, trauma, or developmental disabilities. The experienced facilitators use evidence-based approaches to help individuals connect with the horses and themselves in a safe and supportive environment. Cost for semi-private is $75 per session or $260 for a 4 session commitment.* Cost for private is $160 per session or $500 for a 4 session commitment.*

NW Hearts United provides professional Equine Facilitated Mental Health & Learning services in Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, and King Counties. We collaborate with a network of approved off-site locations/herds and a team of EFMHL credentialed mental health professionals in the Upper Puget Sound region.
