Secure Medicine Return

Secure Medicine Return is a program offered by Skagit County in Washington state that provides a safe and convenient way to dispose of unwanted medications. The program allows residents to drop off their unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter drugs at designated collection sites throughout the county. The collected medications are then safely incinerated, helping to prevent drug abuse, accidental poisonings, and environmental contamination. This program is free to all residents and is available year-round. With the Secure Medicine Return program, individuals can easily and responsibly dispose of their medications without the worry of them ending up in the wrong hands or harming the environment.
