Currently, the Stanwood Camano Food Bank is feeding 600 to 700 kids per week from our community. Thanks to generous grants, donations, and volunteer hours we have been able to keep up with the ever increasing demand. The H.O.P.E. Backpack Program runs 52 weeks out of the year. We distribute weekly food packs each Friday to kids in need. The packs include 7 breakfast items, 7 lunches, 7 dinners, & snacks. Packs are distributed right from your childs school, however parents can opt to pick the packs up at the Stanwood Camano Food Bank. If you feel your child is in need, applications for participation in the H.O.P.E. Backpack Program are available at the food bank. Homeschooled children are also eligible. Every child in the Stanwood Camano School District is eligible for a weekly packs, whether or not they are school age.
