Covid-19 Vaccine Equity Partner
The Covid-19 Vaccine Equity Partner program is a community-focused initiative created by Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) to ensure equitable distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine. This program aims to reach diverse and underserved communities in the Pacific Northwest region, specifically focusing on Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) populations. The program partners with community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and local health departments to address vaccine hesitancy, barriers to access, and misinformation by providing culturally and linguistically appropriate resources and support. Through this collaborative effort, the program aims to increase vaccine uptake and promote health equity in communities disproportionately affected by the pandemic.
