Arts Council

Schack Art Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating the arts for the enhancement of community life. Founded more than 42 years ago as the Arts Council of Snohomish County, the Schack Art Center opened in April 2011 and was named for John and Idamae Schack, in honor of their steadfast support of Everett's cultural institutions. Today the Schack Art Center is the place to look at, learn about, and create art in our region. Schack Art Center is an admission-free visual art center in downtown Everett, WA. Our exhibit galleries are open six days a week and feature diverse artwork from locally and internationally known artists, as well as emerging young talents. From the main gallery, visitors are able to watch professional glassblowers at work in our state-of-the-art hot shop while admiring the current exhibit.
