OPEN DOORS PROGRAM
Serving Arlington, Darrington, Lakewood, and Smokey Point This program is for you when: you have dropped out of school or disengaged from school
you do not expect to graduate before you are 21 years old
you are between 16 and 21 years old before September 1
And, you want either a high school diploma, a GED or job preparation. Open Doors has caring and supportive staff who work to reduce barriers that keep you from staying on track and being successful. Open Doors uses APEX Learning courses and tutorials (online) that are needed for pathways to a high school diploma or to a GED. Open Doors works with Workforce Snohomish in job preparation and other services. You work on these courses at your pace whenever and wherever is convenient for you. Open Doors requires that you come in to Weston during Open Doors hours (11am-4pm - following the Arlington School District calendar) two hours, two times each month.
