Community Action Project
What does it mean to be a community? At Beck's Place we believe that to be a community we must be in relationship with each other and come together. Our Community Action Project (CAP) is a time to do that. Approximately four times a year we gather together for food, fun and to share resources with our neighbors. We provide a meal at the event and sack lunch for families to take home. Our pet and human supply bank is available. We always make sure to have some fun too! To make this event happen we combine talents, time and resources to be #bettertogether. Many of our families we are serving are there volunteering as well. And individuals and businesses throughout the community provide the food and supplies that keep our bank stocked throughout the year.
