Mindfulness Training

What it is: Mindfulness training is about learning to live in the present moment with skill and ease. The tools of mindfulness are gentle, simple, and can be practiced by anyone! Why people do it: Mindfulness practice, like exercise, builds energy, strength and stress-resilience. Mindfulness helps reduce the risk of, and in the treatment of, PTSD, stress, chronic pain, anxiety and depression. In good times and challenging times, it helps you meet life fully and effectively. Many of our alumni find they can continue with these practices long after class ends providing lasting benefit.
